Production Operator Exeter

Avaliable Job Today gap personnel (operating as an employment business) are currently recruiting for Production Operatives for a client based in Exeter. The factory can be reached by public transport from Exeter centre.
The business designs and manufactures its parts at their Exeter depot and distributes throughout the UK and the world. The site is offering onsite carparking for those travelling by car / motorbike.
Working within the production area gives you a variety to your day, where you will be responsible for duties such as:
- Hand assembly of small and intricate components and parts.
- Working from technical drawings to produce to customer specifications.
- Quality control checks of finished product.
- Ensuring all health & safety standards are adhered to.
*Please note - Previous production / manufacturing experience is required for this role.
Ideal candidates for this Production Operative role will:
- Be comfortable working at a fast pace – manufacturing targets will be required to be met.
- Always keep a clean and safe working area.
- Be comfortable completing paperwork.
- Will abide by health and safety rules.
- Have an interest within engineering or manufacturing.
- Aware that this is the assembly of small and intricate components.
We have the following shifts & pay rates available:
Monday to Friday, Rotational Shift pattern:
Week 1: 06:00-14:00
Week 2: 14:00-22:00
Week 3: 22:00-06:00
Pay: £13.40ph to 26.80ph
