Job description
We are currently recruiting for Production Operators for a variety of Shift Patterns:
3 Shift Rotating (Back, Early, Night)
Continental 12 hr Day & Night (2-2, 3-2, 2-3), 24/7 shift pattern
Part Time Weekend (2 x 12hrs)
Job Purpose:
- Carry out production operations in line with all standard operating procedures to manufacture product as per production plan.
- Ensure all operating areas and equipment are maintained to the required levels of GMP and cleanliness.
- Ensure product complies with all quality requirements.
- Carry out product and size changeovers and ensure line starts up to required efficiency.
- Control all packaging and raw materials and ensure all waste streams are monitored.
- Ensure all health, safety and environmental standards are maintained.
Key Responsibilities and accountabilities:
- Monitor and report production status vs plan requirements
- Complete all on line documentation and reports.
- Line and work area cleanliness.
- Achievement of operational targets for efficiency, quality and cost.
- Operate all required machinery and equipment in line with all health & safety requirements.
- Train other team members as required.
- Contribution to continuous improvement processes.
- Monitor product quality and take corrective action in the event of deviation from standards.
- Monitor all waste streams and take corrective action in the event of deviation from standard.
- Take responsibility for personal and team safety with particular focus on PPE and safety systems.
- Contribute to all team processes and strive for continuous improvement in all areas of the operation.
Key Competencies:
- Good Level of written and spoken English
- Previous experience within a Production environment
- High level of manual dexterity
- Ability to work well alone and within a team
- Possess a strong work ethic accompanied by a flexible approach to tasks
- Motivated and target driven individual
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £10.42-£11.54 per hour
