We believe that hard work deserves to be rewarded so on top of your hourly rate you will receive paid breaks, a night shift allowance and holidays above statutory minimum, including bank holidays! Your base annual salary without any allowances would be £23,776. Pay starts at £9.88 p/h for Level 1 Operatives, we have in house training and numerous progression opportunities available.
What shifts will you work?
You will work 4 set shifts per week, Monday to Thursday on either a day or night shift (06:00-18:00 or 18:00-06:00) on a weekly rotating basis. Various shift patterns are available throughout the week and the working days/patterns we have available will be discussed with you at interview.
What will you do?
You will work as part of a team of Production Operatives ensuring the smooth flow of the product . Your main duties will be:
- Efficient and accurate packing and labelling of products
- Maintaining work areas to safe, clean and organised standards
- Continuously checking the quality of product/packaging, immediately highlighting any quality concerns to the line-manager
- Accurate and timely completion of all required paperwork
- Conduct product-change over cleans and end of week cleans to exemplary standards
- Always follow all food hygiene GMP standards, ensuring product safety, quality and integrity is achieved at all times
What are we are looking for?
It’s a physical job, in a busy environment so you’ll be on the go throughout your shift. Whatever task you’re performing, your attention to detail will make sure we can fulfil our orders and get our brilliant crisps out to our customers!
You should be familiar with FMCG and have a keen eye to detail. A valid Food Safety L2 is prefered but full training will be given to the right candidate.
