We are looking for a pro-active, organised, self-motivated and ambitious Production Operative to join our growing team. T
Main duties and responsibilities
- ·Loading incoming eggs from producer farms.
- Monitoring egg quality.
- Lining up correct packaging to the machinery for the correct range of eggs.
- Be proactive and plan ahead for following packing requirements.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Date code required products.
- Box finished goods and palletise.
- Clean as you go and end of day hygiene tasks.
- Packing eggs into boxes and onto trays from the fast-moving conveyor belt.
Skills Required:
- Great communication skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise workload and remain organised.
Attainment:
- GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English
Knowledge:
- Knowledge of food production practices.
Relevant Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role
Disposition:
- Able to work as part of a team
- Able to work with limited supervision
- Self-motivated, organised, and able to work on own initiative to meet deadlines.
Other:
- Positive personality.
- Friendly disposition.
