We are looking for reliable, hard-working Production Operatives for our expanding operation. In this role, you will be a valuable part of our production team, ensuring our production requirements are met in a timely fashion while observing the highest standards of safety and quality.

• Hours: 40-Hours per week, 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Thursday and 8:00am to 2:00pm on Fridays
• Rate of Pay: £10.90 per hour
• Reporting to: Production Manager

Key Responsibilities: -

• Responsible for the set-up of machinery including programming the production cycle, controlling and adjusting settings, and feeding raw materials to machinery.
• Carry out routine checks on the machinery to ensure that it is operating at capacity.
• Troubleshoot issues or malfunctions that may occur during the working day and escalate where required to the Team Leader or Production Supervisor.
• Work on the production line with consistent speed and accuracy, along with the flexibility to move between different production departments.
• Attend morning huddle meetings with Production Manager and Team leader.

General responsibilities: -

• Remove and pack off finished products.
• Ensure clean-down of machinery is carried out by following the established rules and procedures.
• Observe and practice all safety guidelines in the operation of equipment and all other work practices.

Job specification: -

• Experience within a Production / Manufacturing environment.
• Mechanically sympathetic.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Team player.
