Production Operative
SIP Building Systems Ltd was established in 2005 and is a leading manufacturer in producing Structural Insulated Panels. Our expertise in producing panels means we are ideally positioned to offer sustainable and energy efficient solutions to the construction industry, in particular, emerging building technologies such as modular housing and school buildings.
The Role
This is very much a 'hands on' role involving machine operation and manual handling. The successful candidate will have an excellent record for Health and Safety and be used to working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities include:
· Operating a range of machinery and equipment, ensuring machines are running to optimum capability
· Ensuing high levels of inspection & quality
· Work effectively from work orders, prints, sketches, layout sheets, written or verbal instructions
· Comply to all company policies, processes, SOPs, procedures, work instructions either written or verbal
· General production duties upon request
About you:
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be given.
In addition, you will:

**Must be at least 18 years of age due to machines
What you’ll receive:
· £10.80 per hour, 3-day week shift pattern, including alternate Saturdays
· Weekly shift allowance
· 22.5 days holiday, plus bank holidays
· Participation in weekly bonus scheme (on completion of probation/training)
