So what’s the job all about?
Our Butchery Packing Operative roles at Samworth Brothers won’t hang about for long. That’s because the people who’ll apply for them are full of energy and lightning quick. Speed, stamina, and good communication skills are qualities we love here.
The principle duties and responsibilities will include the following:
- Regular Lifting / pushing / pulling of heavy loads of meat (15kg+)
- Daily use of machinery (Inox machine and tumbler machine)
- Reworking blowers of hams ready to be cooked
- Repetitive movements including regular lifting, pushing & pulling tasks
- Adhere to strict hygiene standards
- Daily use of machinery
- Working in a in a fast paced production environment
- Work safely at all times and adhere to Company health and safety standards
- Ensure Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are correctly followed
- Monday to Friday – 06.00 – 14.00 (£409.50 p/w)
