Job description
Mackie’s of Scotland produces the nation’s favourite ice cream and chocolate from the family farm in Aberdeenshire.
Due to continued growth of the business, we are recruiting general production and machine operatives in our ice cream production and on-site packaging manufacturing areas.
Duties include general day to day functions operating various production lines, monitoring efficiency, carrying out regular quality checks, running semi-automated machines and packing off finished product.
Previous food manufacturing experience is preferred, however full training and support will be provided. This work involves varying amounts of lifting and manual handling, therefore a good level of physical fitness is required.
Own transport is essential due to our countryside location (AB51 8US).
Various shift patterns available over 40 hours per week. We pay the Real Living Wage (£10.90 p/h) with the opportunity for overtime. These positions are offered on a permanent basis.
