Job Title: High Risk Production OperativeReports to: High Risk Manager & SupervisorOverall purpose: To implement and follow all food safety and hygiene procedures, ensure quality assurance standards and best practice is adhered to at all stages of production.Hours: Monday to Friday: 6:00am - 2:00pmMain activities:- Implementing and adhering to all food safety and hygiene procedures.- Vac packing meat products ready to be oven cooked.- Cleaning and sanitizing machinery and workstations.Applicants should possess the following:- Knowledge and experience of the meat/food industry.- An understanding of industrial food machinery.- Flexibility to work overtime as and when needed.- An enthusiasm to develop own skills.- Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate highly desirable.Benefits:Butchers Fayre Store discountDiscounted canteen / free food29 days holiday entitlementCompany pensionProgression opportunitiesJob Types: Permanent, Full-timeSalary: £10.90 per hourSchedule:8 hour shiftSupplemental pay types:Yearly bonusAbility to commute/relocate:Wigan, WN3 4HX: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)Experience:Production: 1 year (preferred)Work Location: In person
