New role based in our Louth Facility - Join or amazing production team, this is a fulltime role based onsite.
Areas of Responsibility:
You are responsible for the day to day production & testing of sub-assemblies and associated materials in the manufacturing of smoke machines, specifically in the “Heavy Fog” department.
Working Tasks:
Tasks that relate to your work area are as follows:-
- To take care of the product whilst assembly is being carried out and to ensure that it is not damaged in any way.
- Assemble a wide range of sub-assemblies using the provided SOP’s.
- Final assembly of products produced in the “Heavy Fog” department.
- Final test of products produced in the “Heavy Fog” department.
- Achieve the targets set by management and register completed work.
- Carry out other duties as and when required to do so.
- Training is on-going and you will be expected at some point to take part in training in other departments. It may be necessary at times for you to work in another department at the request of management.
- Ensure that the area in which you work is clean and tidy both whilst you are working and at the end of the day.
- Maintain company property such as tools, parts and machinery in a professional manner at all times and report any defects to your manager.
- All non-conforming products/processes associated with the production of smoke products should be recorded into the QMS.
- Adhere to the company’s health and safety policies, risk assessments and safe systems work.
Qualifications / Required Skills:
No formal qualifications are required but it is advantageous to have the following skills:-
- Ability to work as part of a team and become valued member of staff.
- Experience of working with hand tools.
- Experience of “Hot Works” but not essential.
- Good quality of work and consistent efficiency levels.
- Good attitude to the job and to other employee’s.
- The ability to maintain a safe, clean and tidy workspace.
- Good timekeeping and the ability to work to tight deadlines
Additional requirements:
There are no additional requirements however the following is advantageous: -
- Experience in using Microsoft Office
- Experience in other manufacturing roles
