Job Title: Production Operative - Aluminium Foundry.

Reporting to: Production Supervisor / Production Manager

Working in a manufacturing environment, the processor/packer operative will be using a range of equipment to support processes including painting, grinding, and number collection of goods. The employee is to prepare goods for internal and external quality inspections and shipping, using various tools and equipment. The product quality and containment of goods are at the forefront of the job role.

Working Hours: 38 hours (Monday-Thursday), Off (Friday - Sunday).

Role:

  • Prepare goods for shipment via stacking and piling finished goods into containers as per customer specifications.
  • Check to ensure containers are damage free, prior to the packing of the goods either for customers or inspection purposes
  • Verify that the correct products are packaged to the right order.
  • Complete documents to record measurement, weight, and production count.
  • Remove completed or defective products and/or materials, placing them on moving equipment (i.e. roller tracks) or in specified areas (i.e. loading bays)
  • Ensure that any issues regarding HSE are reported immediately.
  • Ensuring that the quality and quantity of products are up to quality expectations.
  • Work at different stations as production requires
  • Verify compliance with quality, safety, production standards, work rules, and efficient operation of equipment
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Person Specifications:

  • Willingness to learn and work as part of a team
  • Ensure production demands and customer requirements are met
  • Ability to use your own initiative
  • Good communications skills (Good standard of English is essential)
  • Ability to work under minimum supervision

Job Type: Full-time
