Shift Pattern - 4 on, 4 off based on 38.5 hours per week
Hours working - 6am-6pm and then rotating after 4 days off to 6pm-6am
You will receive your shift pattern on a yearly basis for the full year so you can plan annual leave, holidays, child care in advance.
Job Purpose
To be involved in the production of designated products ensuring key production procedures are followed to ensure a high level of product quality and customer satisfaction.
Key Accountabilities
- Understand and comply to the related SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedures)
- Producing the required product to the required standards
- Careful completion of related documentation with PC input as when / where required
- Ability to work to high standards and specifications
- Collect Samples and complete production quality checks
- Ability and confidence to ensure any concerns and issues are elevated to a Team Leader / Production Shift Manager without delay
- Maintaining a clean production environment
- To ensure that the production lines operate efficiently, by sharing responsibility of:
- Managing the machines input and output for efficient production; and
- Operating the machinery, setting it up for production, doing routine maintenance and cleaning
- Collect samples and complete production quality records
- To comply at all times with standards of food safety, quality and legality at all times.

HSE Responsibilities (Levels 1 & 2)
Follows training & instruction in order to protect self and others, authorised to challenge unsafe behaviour. Will report safety concerns immediately and where possible take action to reduce risk of harm, engage in safety conversations and be involved in safety walks to build a safety culture.

Experience and Qualifications
- Previous experience within food manufacturing or similar environment
- Awareness of Good Manufacturing Procedures
- Good literacy and numeracy skills
