Your Role
Inspiring our largest team within the business, as a Production Manager you will lead all production functions to deliver quality, unique products to delight our customers whilst meeting and exceeding KPI's and relevant standards.
No two programmes will be the same, you will be driving the integrity and coherence of production performance. You will have a logical approach to problem solving and using your extensive lean manufacturing experience will manage multiple priorities whilst promoting a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
You will be joining an established and ambitious leadership team to work together in a forward thinking, collaborative and hands on way
Your Responsibilities (but are not limited to):
- Accountable for ensuring production meets customer specifications and delivery expectations, minimising wastage where possible and driving best practices.
- Manage, coach and develop your production team to ensure successful programme delivery and culture.
- Maintain a positive and constructive environment ensuring all stakeholder inputs are considered to support credible decision making.
- Drive the creation and implementation of best practice manufacturing vision, strategy and operation.
- Collaborate with other departments to drive CamdenBoss to deliver the best possible service to our customers.
- With a growth mindset challenge conventional methods and embrace new technologies.
General Responsibility
- Apply business processes in a manner that is compliant with relevant legislation and regulations, to protect the interests of all group companies, their partners and stakeholders.
- Comply with health and safety policy and procedures, local practices and control measures and report risks, accidents or near misses promptly to contribute to a safe workplace.
- Responsible for proactive maintenance of equipment and machinery to maximise operational effectiveness.
- Support the company’s efforts in becoming a more sustainable business by bringing in new ideas and suppliers with the same vision
- Any reasonable activity to support the performance growth and profitability of CamdenBoss and all group companies
You have/is:
Qualifications
Educated to HNC/HND engineering related qualification (or similar/ equivalent) and or recognised management training qualification (CMI)
Skills
- A strong sense of who you are as a leader and the culture you want to establish within your team
- Demonstrable experience of coaching, mentoring and developing a team to reach personal and business objectives.
- Effective project management of teams and tasks
- Highly proficient in a variety of Microsoft tools to include Excel, word and PowerPoint
- Demonstrable experience of delivering efficiencies and adopting new technologies
- Highly proficient user of MES/ERP systems
- Keen awareness and passion of current mega trends within manufacturing and beyond.

Great to Haves
- Educated to relevant engineering degree(Bachelor’s degree)
- Experience of managing within an Injection moulding environment
- Experience of managing within a complex electro/mechanical assembly environment
- Experience of managing within a sheet plastic fabrication/assembly environment
- Experience of managing manufacturing plant maintenance
- Project management experience
- Six sigma trained

Salary: Up to £45,000.00 per year
