Job description
The Best Connection is recruiting for an experienced Production Supervisor for our Wolverhampton based client.
Immediate start available.
Hours of work are 08:00 till 16:45 Monday to Thursday and 08:00 till 12:00 on a Friday.
Salary of £30,000 per annum.
Your role within the company will be to ensure the daily delivery of production targets within set departments. As well as to implement and manage basic production KPI's, as well as continuous process improvements and safety adherence and people management.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Operational target delivery.
- Safety, Quality and Process Management.
- Update Head of Manufacturing on output vs target and build status.
- Implement and manage skills matrix to ensure diversity of skill sets within the workforce.
- First line people management and enforcement of HR processes.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role. Have a proven track record in team leading as well as people management and an understanding of lean manufacturing principles.
Candidates require a fully up to date CV outlining previous and relevant work experience.
