Role Summary
To support business performance and compliance, we are recruiting ambitious innovative Production Team Leader (Nights) to join our dedicated and inspirational team.

As the night shift Production Team Leader your duties are of paramount importance. Responsible for leading a team of up to 12 operatives, the successful applicant will oversee the production process and coordinate all activities. including operating machines, production, processing, packaging, and data recording. You will direct, control, correct, and motivate the team to obtain & surpass set key performance indicators. Ultimately, you will be responsible for the efficient running of our nutraceutical production lines with strict adherence to quality standards.
The fast-paced production environment processes can create high pressure situations that will demand a team centric approach to inspire & motivate the workforce, bringing to life organisational goals, missions, & visions.
Skills/Experience/Qualifications
- A degree is not essential for this role, however, evidence of related field qualifications and/or proven track record leading a team within food, nutraceutical, or pharmaceutical manufacturing.
- Understanding of Food Safety and Health & Safety legislation.
- Planning and organisation skills to be able run and monitor the production process.
- Proficient in MS Office and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software.
- Experience in reporting on key production metrics
- Knowledge of good documentation practices such as Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
- A professional approachable personality that translates well across all communication methods.
- Written and verbal communication skills for communicating with a range of both internal and external stakeholders.
- Team management, leadership, development, & organisational skills.
- Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach.
- Dynamic thinking and problem-solving abilities with the ability to think strategically using initiative and confidence.
- A flexible approach to work with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
