This management opportunity has arisen within the Production Unit for an ambitious individual who wishes to expand their career.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the operational day to day management and co-ordination of the delivery of Tayside Linen Services and the Central Decontamination Unit provisions at Ninewells Hospital to Directorates, CHPs and various customers throughout NHS Tayside and NHS Fife. The successful candidates will ensure a first class delivery of service within the defined budget and to specified quality standards. The role focuses on the restructuring and realignment of services to ensure ongoing improvements, increased productivity and the establishment of consistent and common standards throughout NHS Tayside.
This is a highly challenging and rewarding post, which will require strong leadership skills, with an understanding of the complexities of delivering services within a multifunctional environment. Together with the personal and professional credibility to engage in dialogue, debate and negotiations with senior managers, as well as the drive and determination to manage staff, deliver services and implement change in partnership.
You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.
