Production Manager Sheffield, England

Morgan King are delighted to be exclusively partnered with a market leading manufacturer located in Sheffield who are looking to appoint a Production Manager to join their Senior Leadership Team.
Managing a team, you'll be fully accountable for all Manufacturing activities across the Production facility.
Our client is a leading global giant within their sector and are currently entering an exciting period of growth and change. This is a brilliant opportunity for a forward thinking energetic manager to put their own stamp on to the department.
Main duties would include:
- Ensuring that health, safety, wellbeing and environmental policies are followed as per QA and ISO requirement, including reporting of incidents and follow up corrective actions
- Continuously look to increase productivity, improve yields and minimize losses to fines
- Identify the optimum process for each product
- Ensure that all operatives have the required skill/competency and are fully trained and competent
- Develop and monitor a range of KPI’s such as process improvements against historical performance
- Manage the operating budgets and provide strategic CAPEX plans for future process improvements
- Ensure product stocks are always precisely managed and accounted for
- Ensure high housekeeping standards are set and maintained at all times
- Work closely with engineering to ensure that equipment uptime is optimised
