Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Disciplinary and/or functional management of employees
- Responsible for budget planning and tracking in the assigned area
- Responsible for target deployment according to EK ScoreCard in the assigned area
- Strategically developing the departments further (identifying improvements, recording the areas of potential identified in a roadmap, defining priorities within the R&D department)
- Achieving the 1-5-year targets (defining the targets, measures and priorities for achieving the 1-5-year targets)
- Responsible for compliance with the CU/BU standards and their implementation
- Reporting KPIs to the BUs and CUs
- Creating and maintaining capacity plans for machines and staff over the medium and long term
- Planning and coordinating investment in replacement equipment with the Maintenance Manager and General Manager at the plant
- Responsible for the achievement of the production KPIs
- Responsible for shop floor management and the achievement of the target
- Leading Info Point within the Shopfloor Management
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- Completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in the field of engineering, at least 5 years of professional experience in a similar position or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5 – 10 years of experience in personnel management and direct supervision in high volume Automotive Manufacturing Environment.
- Strong skills required in development of self-directed work teams in an automotive environment, training, supplier development and Quality.
- Significant experience in Production Planning, Purchasing, Manufacturing, APQP, ISO 14001, IATF, VDA 6.3 and Staff functions and supervision of salaried and hourly personnel.
- Additional skills should include excellent verbal and written communications, strong human relations skills in a union environment, ability to deal with people at any organizational level and the ability to professionally represent the company to outside customers, suppliers and agencies.
- Computer literacy is a requirement as is the ability to interact with technical personnel and understand the relationships between product design and manufacturing capability. Familiarity with MRP, JIT, SPC requirements. Team player, team builder and team leader skills are required.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $90,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
