Job description
Are you an experienced Print Production Operative with experience in Artworking using Adobe Illustrator?
We are looking for a Large Format print & finisher machine operator with Artworking experience to work alongside our experienced production team in producing a variety of printed products.
It will be your responsibility to run print machines (Epson), and plotting (Summa) & finishing (Laminating) and complete daily maintenance, help with the production team to complete orders.
You will be creating mock ups for customers for vehicle graphics & event branding signage. Experience within this field is essential.
You will need good communication skills to interact with our Clients.
We are looking for someone to join our team on a full time/part time basis.
This is a varied job in a fast-paced environment, with big opportunity to regularly learn new skills and become an important part of a tight knit team.
Salary from £28k-£37k, commensurate with experience.
Essential Skills Required:
- Experience of Operating large format printers.
- Can operate RIP Software such as Onyx or Caldera.
- Experience in setting up files to print, cut & flex cut in Adobe Illustrator.
- Experience of large format finishing such as mounting, laminating, vinyl cutting.
- Having some installation experience would be ideal but not essential.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Flexible with working hours.
- Positive attitude and enthusiasm to learn.
- Good computer knowledge.
- Able to work on own initiative.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 40 per week
Salary: £25,000.00-£37,000.00 per year
