Production Laboratory Assistant Role
The Production Laboratory Assistant role is a lab-based role where you will work closely with other members of the production team to ensure safe and successful manufacturing of assays. The main tasks which you will be undertaking consist of:
- Production and packaging of molecular diagnostic panels.
- Testing and calibrating lab equipment.
- Writing reports on laboratory work and projects as well as writing work instructions and checking that relevant technical and QC documentation is maintained.
- Assisting in the maintenance of the Laboratory including stock levels and laboratory cleanliness.
- Completing equipment and process validation projects.
- Ensuring that processes are completed to our regulatory standards.
Successful applicant
We are looking for an individual with a graduate degree related to biosciences. A successful candidate should have a good understanding of the fundamental aspects of molecular biology and PCR. With the role being primarily laboratory based, a keen interest in practical work is necessary, with the ability to demonstrate previous practical experience being a key advantage. You will be working alongside a diverse team in a busy laboratory, excellent communication and team-working skills will be required for you to work within the team.
