Launching in 2023, ITV’s Production Finance Academy
This year ITV is launching a Production Finance Academy, giving 6 trainees the opportunity to start their finance careers at ITV.
The Academy will offer 12 month contracts to the successful candidates, providing training, mentoring and experience working on shows across entertainment, daytime, soaps, and factual.
Trainees will learn the building blocks of all areas of production finance, through classroom based training and on the job experience, working alongside some of the most experienced production accountants in the industry.

The role
Working with our Production Finance teams, you will be providing support to ensure productions are delivered on budget whilst adhering to ITV’s financial processes and policies.
The Production Finance Assistants will work on a range of genres and television programmes during the year. You will be adept at using a range of financial systems and computer packages.
This is an entry level role so full training for any specialist production or financial tasks will be given.
Skills you’ll need (minimum criteria)
Demonstrable financial aptitude gained via an academic qualification or relevant finance based work experience.
Good mathematical skills. A pass GCSE grade 6 or above or equivalent experience.
Evidence of the ability to work in a busy, deadline-driven environment. Reacting appropriately to ever changing circumstances.
Demonstrate a keen eye for detail and ability to maintain accurate records at all times.
Evidence managing high volume workload efficiently and effectively maintaining high standards at all times.
Excellent communication skills and demonstrable ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders at all levels.
Demonstrable passion for working in production finance, adapting to a range of systems, policies and processes and pursuing a financial career in television and for working at ITV.
Other things we’re looking for (key criteria)
Good Excel skills and experience of Google Suite (or equivalent).
Solutions focussed with demonstrable initiative to plan and manage own workload and proactive in driving personal career development.
Willingness to work on location.
