Exciting opportunity to join the production engineering department at Worcester Bosch. We’re looking for a candidate who thrives on innovating and delivering improvements to make our production facility more efficient and cost effective to operate. Projects are wide ranging and interesting, including:
- Delivery of new products within a mature manufacturing environment
- Establishing new and developing existing robust, efficient and sustainable processes
- Represent Worcester facility within the Bosch International Production Network (IPN)
- Lead Continuous Improvement Process for quality, cost and delivery performances
- Reduction of internal and external failure costs by systematic use of Zero defect techniques (Jidoka, Poke Yoke, PFMEA, Control Plan)
- Responsible for implementation of Bosch Production System (BPS) principles on shop floor
- Act responsibly and pro-actively to ensure Safe and Environmentally friendly processes and work spaces according to Health and Safety regulations and internal Environmental Protection policies
- Degree from a technical field e.g. engineering / design preferable
- Project management skills beneficial

Working Hours: 39 hours a week; Mon – Thurs 08.00 - 17.00 and Fri 08.00 - 16.00 with a 1 hour unpaid lunchbreak
