We are currently hiring for the position of:
PRODUCTION COORDINATOR
Reporting to the Production Manager, the Production Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Brand & Marketing department in ensuring consistent and efficient delivery of all in-house creative projects and coordinating the production pipeline into the Design, Content and Marketing teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Shall include but not be limited to:
- Managing production requests: ingesting requests, reviewing briefs, creating timelines, adding resources to meet departmental commitments
- Coordinating open production requests: tracking status, liaising with stakeholders, reporting on approvals to ensure on-time delivery
- Conducting status check-ins with Brand & Marketing teams
- Promoting adherence to production processes via training and support to other stakeholders at TIFF
- Maintaining an organized production system to ensure integrity of processes
- Liaising with 3rd parties and vendors, as needed
- Providing support on production workflows, including process determination, documentation, and tooling
- Providing administrative support on production of Festival publications
- Coordinating closed captioning and subtitling of video, as needed
- Supporting processes governing Content & Material ingest for Creative teams
- Acting as Production Assistant on-site as part of Creative-owned activations during Festival and year-round
RATE OF PAY:
- $ 25.00/Hourly
WORK LOCATION:
- Office Location: 350 King Street West, Toronto, ON M5V 3X5
- Weekly in office requirements:
- Minimum 2 days (November to May)
- Minimum 3 days (June to October)
- Festival Office Requirements: Full Time during Festival
TARGET CONTRACT DATES:
- July 10,2023-September 10, 2023
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Post-secondary education in a related field (i.e. Television Broadcasting, New Media Production, Project Management, Visual and Digital Arts) or equivalent combination of training and work experience
- 2+ years experience in a Creative Production or Project Coordination role
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
- Verbally communicates in a professional manner
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
- Expertise in Trello is required; advanced experience with other project management platforms is an asset
- Strong working knowledge of Google Suite is required
- Developing and tracking deliverables with a keen ability to control inventory and scope creep
- Excellent issues-resolution abilities
- Able to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proactive approach to evaluating, recommending and implementing opportunities that improve internal tools and processes
- Self-motivated with excellent critical thinking and problem solving abilities
