We are currently recruiting for a Production Coordinator to join our Light Turbine team in Dyce, Aberdeen. The purpose of the position is to perform the full range of Production Coordinator duties and services.

Job Responsibilities

  • Create production plans and schedules for all workshop and test cell activity for both Internal and External customers.
  • Chair weekly production meetings with interested parties.
  • Raise, monitor, and control Work Instructions
  • Raise Purchase Requisitions from disposition report/quotemaster for all workshop activity and ensure timely submission to Supply Chain. Including third party vendors, production & facility requirements
  • Maintain and update ERP system in creating, maintaining, and closing Work Orders as required.
  • Assist Supply Chain with the delivery and coordination of third party vendor activity.
  • Assist with the updating and on-going development of the Document Control Database including Non-Conformance Reports, Material Transfer Requests and Environmental Input and Aspects.
  • Administration and compilation of Quotemaster for all workshop activity for both Internal and External customers.
  • Accurate creation of inventory requests for capital parts/kits and consumable parts, and timely submission to Stores.
  • Any other general administration duties as required.


Required Skills / Knowledge

  • Excellent interpersonal/communication skills essential
  • Competent in Microsoft packages
  • Ability to work independently on own initiative and as part of a team involved in a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Proven elevated levels of customer interfacing skill- both internally and externally
  • Ability to effectively plan and prioritise.
  • Effective organisational skills
  • Demonstrate the ability to operate in a structured and logical manner
  • Behaviours that match with the company ethos and vision
  • High sense of responsibility and, ethic and honesty


Experience

  • Prior experience in a similar role would be advantageous.
  • Experience in production planning.


Education Requirements

  • Minimum of Standard Grades (or equivalent) preferably in English and Mathematics


Physical Requirements

  • Driving License preferred although not essential.
  • Office based.
