Bolongaro Trevor are looking for a Production Coordinator who will be responsible for handling day to day administrative tasks across the production department in a fast-paced fashion retail company.
Responsibilities:
- Managing all orders across menswear, womenswear, accessories and footwear, this involves ensuring our products are placed with the correct factories, taking into consideration quality, budget and delivery.
- Setting RRP’s and cost prices for each collection.
- Working closely with the director on cost negotiations
- Fit and comment on clothing, accessories and footwear to ensure we meet design expectations, technical requirements and business expectations.
- Liaise with the Design team to gather all information about each product, style codes and tech packs.
- Oversee supplier relationships to ensure all suppliers maintain delivery, quality and margin expectations, communicate with them regularly to solve any issues that may occur.
- Updating all tech packs and BOM’s to ensure factories have relevant information.
- Input all products and orders into Zedonk and update information when necessary.
- Raise purchase orders from Zedonk and send to the relevant suppliers.
- Create barcodes on Zedonk and send them to the relevant suppliers.
- Organise all EAN codes and ensure they are all registered on GS1.
- Create SKU’s.
- Work to a tight critical path to ensure production runs smoothly form initial PP approval through to delivery.
- Provide customers with any admin information needed e.g. MID codes, shipping points and fabric compositions.
- Monitor compliance to ensure we are adhering to ethical and chemical standards.
- Request ASN’s from customers prior to shipment.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role within a fashion retail company
- Degree educated (or equivalent)
- Proficient in Excel
- High attention to detail
- Strong organisational skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills – puts forward different solutions to tackle an issue and will take responsibility for the decision
- Knowledge in general garment and accessory construction
