Production Controller, Adult (Trade and Special Interest) Division
This is an excellent opportunity for a someone looking to further their career in Trade Production.
Bloomsbury publishes a prestigious award-winning list of literary fiction and non-fiction titles including such authors as Reni Eddo-Lodge, William Dalrymple, Louise Kennedy and Samantha Shannon. We are looking for a highly motivated and hard-working individual to take the next career step within our busy Adult Production team.
Reporting to the Mono Production Manager, you will be responsible for project managing an exciting and diverse range of frontlist titles from delivery of the copyedited manuscript through to publication, ensuring books deliver on time and on budget and maintain an excellent standard of quality at each step.
Knowledge, skills and experience
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience of Print Production, ideally within a Trade Publishing setting
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills, and a keen eye for detail
- Proven IT skills: knowledge of Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat essential and familiarity with InDesign and Photoshop a bonus
- Prior experience with Biblio is a definite advantage

The role is a full-time permanent position.
The role is based at our London office 50 Bedford Square, London, WC1B 3DP on a hybrid working pattern of 2 days office based / 3 days home based (or fully office based if preferred). Allocated office days for this role are Mondays and Tuesdays.
