Production Chef - Exton
The role:
- Working as part of a team in time-bound and often challenging kitchen environment, working from scratch you will be producing sweet and savoury pastry products and soups, salads, and product for our café, to a high standard and often in high volumes.
- 5/7 rota basis with 37.5 hour week includes weekend work.
- The role will be daytime based at our Exton, Cottesmore location, which is in a rural location, so your own transport is essential.
- Salary; £22k, there is an opportunity for overtime
The perfect candidate for this role would be someone.
- Has Bakery experience, however, this is not essential, as training will be provided.
- Is methodical and have good organisational skills, work to a high standard under pressure, energetic, accurate attention to detail is key with a can-do attitude.
- Ability to work in a small team.
- Focused on maintaining excellent standards of personal, food and kitchen hygiene.
- Proficient to work unsupervised and be confident communicator.
- Flexibility regarding possible overtime in busy periods
- Has transport as the bakery is at a remote location with no public transport.
