UnspecifiedWe are hiring several Production Associate roles, on a 12 month FTC, you will work within an electronics manufacturing facility, either in our Glenrothes or Livingston site, with potential requirement to travel to the alternative site when needed.
We are offering full training for you to enable you to be successful within the role, your first few weeks will be part of a training programme to provide you with the necessary knowledge and skills.
Main Duties:
To perform production related tasks required in daily operations within one of the manufacturing business areas.
Tasks may include:
- soldering and inspection to ANSI-J STD/IPC610
- mechanical and wiring assembly
- kit preparation
- bonding and coating.
- testing of assemblies and sub-assemblies using specialised equipment
Candidate Requirements:
Essential:
- Minimum of two standard grades at C/3 pass or above, or previous electronics or mechanical assembly experience
- Good manual dexterity
- Basic PC skills
- Quality focused, a high emphasis on the importance of quality to the customer
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Required to pass basic eye test (including colour blindness)
Desirable:
- Previous electronics and mechanical assembly experience
- Good communication skills
- Organisational skills
