Position Summary
Edrington Global Supply Chain is at the heart of the Edrington Global business, skillfully producing the most iconic whisky brands in the world, including The Macallan, The Famous Grouse, Highland Park and The Glenrothes. We are now actively looking to recruit a number of permanent Production Associates at our site on Great Western Road.

Job Description
Reporting to the Production Team Leader (Classic or Prestige), the role of Production Associate is responsible for contributing to the efficient and effective running of the manufacturing operation, delivering product to the quality, quantities and service levels required to meet the requirements of our customers. As part of a line / cell team, this role will take ownership of all core production activity to achieve operational targets and KPIs aligning with the overall business strategy – that being outstanding levels of quality, service, and compliance.
Key responsibilities:
  • Maintaining operational standards for key production line / cell areas in the Manufacturing department
  • Delivering the manufacturing requirements that meet customer needs and deliver the requirements of Edrington’s brands
  • Operating production lines and/or product process within the predefined specification to ensure optimal asset performance, producing the highest standard of finished product
  • Attending and contributing to department meetings as required
  • Communicating with team on all relevant performance and business areas as required
  • Working with colleagues and Quality / Procurement teams to ensure standards in terms of materials and finished goods are adhered to
  • Championing the application of the Good Manufacturing Practice Policies across H&S, Quality, Service, and all environmental / sustainability areas
  • Supporting and participating in all manufacturing activity e.g., routine tasks through to periodic audits.
Skills and Experience

The successful applicant will have a good standard of secondary education; further technical qualifications would be advantageous. Excellent knowledge of manufacturing environments and a working knowledge of lean manufacturing tools and techniques would be beneficial, however training will be provided.

You will have a positive attitude and demeanour with strong influencing and communication skills in the operations environment. Organisational and leadership skills are desirable. You will be ambitious, with an appetite to challenge the status quo.
