Job description
KTVO is seeking a full-time News Production Assistant.
Responsibilities include:
- Operate Control Room equipment (Audio Console, Video/Graphics Playback, Video Switcher, etc.) for our (Morning, Evening, Weekend) Newscasts.
- Editing News Video and Graphics.
- Assisting News Department with on-location video captures, live shots, photography, etc.
- Assisting Web Department with Social Media and other tasks.
- Other duties as assigned.
General Hours and Schedule:
- 9 hours/day. Arrival times vary from AM News Staff to PM News Staff.
- Must be able to work on weekends and holidays.
- Other hours as needed.
Education/Experience Level:
- Experience is not necessary, but education and/or internship in television or related field preferred.
- Prefer experience in News Production but will train the right person.
- Training will be provided.
