Job description
A superb opportunity for someone to join a fast growing and leading provider of Fire Detection Control Systems and related equipment. You will join a highly qualified and experienced team and enjoy a challenging environment. All training will be provided. The role will be based in the company's Production facility in West Drayton.
Reporting to: Production Manager
Skills Required:
· Soldering
· Basic electronic component recognition
· Ability to recognise component and identity markings
· Ability to copy from existing copy PCB’s and to work from drawings or parts lists
· Use of basic hand tools – screwdrivers, pliers, cutters, soldering iron
· A positive attitude and good team player
· Flexible attitude and ability to carry out different tasks as required to achieve goals
Responsible for:
· Building PCB’s up to flow solder stage, either by use of flow solder machine or by hand
· Inspection of printed circuit boards
· Final assemblies as required, both conventional and surface mount-
· Flow soldering of PCB’s
· After flow inspection and rectification of soldering defects
· Completion or assembly including hand soldering and mechanical assembly
· Other duties as described by the Production Manager
Hours required:
· Monday – Thursday 08:30-17:00
· Friday 08:30-15:00
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £21,000.00-£22,000.00 per year
