Production Assistant
Salary: £20-27k depending on experience
As our Production Assistant you will support the Production team throughout the product development and scale-up journey, working with factories, assessing materials and helping ensure we produce the quality of product we strive for. This is a brand new role offering a unique opportunity to establish yourself and grow within a fast-growing brand that cultivates joy, protects wildlife & empowers women.
The Production Assistant will report into Katie Haddon, our Senior Production and Development Lead.
Responsibilities
- Assist in project management of the production process, including in the sign off of seal samples and specification requirements to effectively deliver production to the correct standard.
- Help maintain strong relations with our suppliers locally and abroad.
- Provide clear and reliable levels of communication throughout the supply chain and to the wider ES team.
- Communicate all QC results and quality improvement feedback to the factory.
- Help to research trend forecasts, competitor analysis and customer insights.
- Keep our physical and digital sample and lab-dip library organised, managed and well-maintained.
- Have a keen eye for detail, tracking all of our sample journeys and dates for approvals, marketing campaigns and ecom.
- Prep documentation for overseas and UK shipments.
- Finalising product information on our systems to ensure POs can be raised in a timely manner to support wider teams.
- Work confidently with multiple programs such as Netsuite, Microsoft Office and Photoshop.
Requirements
- We work a hybrid model, prioritising what works for you. You must be able to travel to our HQ at AL9 6NE as required, this will be a minimum of three days a week.
- UK bank account, a NI number, proof of eligibility to work in the UK, able to speak English fluently.
- A fashion, business or retail based degree.
- Experience using Microsoft office, Netsuite and Photoshop is a bonus.
- A keen eye for detail, especially when analysing reports and spreadsheets.
- The ability to observe problems, reflect and propose solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
- Proven ability in producing accurate work with attention to detail.
- Always retaining a positive and friendly can-do attitude.
- Can adopt a flexible approach to work and adapt quickly to changes whilst ensuring objectives are met.
- Understand and demonstrate the ES values and behaviours joining us in our passion to protect wildlife.
- Act as an ambassador for ES communicating our positivity and values to others.
- Work creatively and analytically to solve problems and propose solutions.
- Be open to learning new skills.
