Audiebant Ltd is currently seeking a motivated and talented individual to join our team as a Junior Audio Production Assistant. In this role, you will provide support across various projects within the company, assisting the operations team with day-to-day tasks, basic audio production, administration, and client communication. Additionally, you will be involved in creative content writing, including the creation of scripts for radio adverts, announcements, and call-to-action segments.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Operations Team with daily tasks and workflow management.
- Perform basic audio production tasks, including editing, mixing, and mastering.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their requirements and provide updates on project progress.
- Collaborate as part of a team, taking direction from others, and work independently as a self-starter.
- Exhibit excellent organizational skills and adhere to project deadlines.
- Utilize audio production software and tools to achieve desired outcomes.
- Demonstrate a clear understanding of EQ, compression, limiting, and other audio processing techniques.
- Proficiently use Microsoft Office applications to complete administrative tasks.
- Continuously learn and develop new skills on the job.
Requirements:
Essential:
- Basic working knowledge of audio production software.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to work effectively under deadlines.
- A clear understanding of EQ, compression, limiting, and other audio processing techniques.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to collaborate as part of a team, take direction, and work independently.
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to evolving job requirements.
Preferred (but not essential):
- Experience with Adobe Audition.
- Possession of a valid driving license.
- Prior experience in audio production (training will be provided).
- Good working knowledge of both PC and Mac operating systems (training will be provided).
- Familiarity with audio equipment and systems.
