About The Role
The Production Assistant is an administrative role that will report to the Assistant Producer for the Bing Linear TV Series. The role includes multiple series versions, supporting the team day-to-day, and other content production elements. It requires adept organisational skills, resourcefulness and the ability to handle a multitude of tasks simultaneously under often high-pressure situations.
What You’ll Do
- Supporting the Editorial Team and wider Production Team in day-to-day tasks.
- Assisting with the review process of international territories.
- Liaise with other Production Assistant(s) and the wider Production Team and Company where necessary.
- Ensuring that Production documentation is up-to-date throughout the various productions running.
- Arranging recording sessions, London studio bookings, and taking detailed notes throughout the recording sessions.
- Assisting with applications for child performance licences.
- Ensuring that Child Protection Guidelines and administrative processes are adhered to at all times.
- You may be asked to attend recording sessions, where your role will be to assist cast members and take session notes
- Assist with archiving when a production is finished.
- Attend the Editorial Meetings, where you will need to take notes as well as give feedback for any content brought to this meeting.
About You
- Experience in a similar role and an understanding of the production and recording process (an animation background is not essential).
- Passionate about animation and pre-school / children’s television production.
- Must be capable of delivering projects from concept to finished product.
- An understanding of character and willingness to translate that knowledge to our Bing DNA.
- Someone who strives to produce world class content.
- Ability to use initiative, problem solve and provide creative vision.
- Someone who enjoys taking responsibility for themselves.
- Evidence of interpersonal and communication skills strong enough to establish credibility with colleagues and to foster strong working relationships with a wide range of people inside and outside of Acamar.

- Strong awareness of trends within the children’s TV sector, as well as how our competitors branch out in other platforms.
- Be able to demonstrate original and imaginative ideas and then transform those ideas into reality.
- Be able to communicate ideas and information clearly and concisely, as well as listen to, understand, and interpret information and instructions correctly.
- Anticipate and provide sound arguments to support your own ideas, actions and initiative.
IT Skills
- Mac or PC proficient.
- Experience of working on Google Workspace, and knowledgeable use of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook and PowerPoint
- Final Draft (not essential)
- Adobe Acrobat Pro
- Some experience of using PhotoShop, ProTools, as well as Video Editing experience, would be an advantage.
