Production & Assembly Operatives -Derby City Centre x5

Ongoing full time position with chance to gain a permanent position
Hours: Monday-Thursday 8:00am-4:30pm & Friday 8:00am-1:30pm (37.5 hours a week)
Pay rate: £12.30 per hour
Location: Derby City Centre
Contract: Temp to Perm
You will be working with a worldwide leader of the manufacturing sector making gangways for the transportation industry. This is an opportunity to work with a business that truly cares for their employees. Your role:
- Using Hand tools regularly on a repetitive basis
- Using and building metal frames to be built into trains/buses
- Drilling and stapling products to connect them together
- Quality checking products to ensure they are safe to use
- Being on your feet, carrying out repetitive production tasks.
- Assisting in the production of products that are to be used on transport such as trains/trams/buses.
The ideal candidate:
- Has worked in a production environment or similar.
- Has used hand held tools previously
- Has a attention to detail, and has the drive ambition to do a fantastic job.
- Is looking for a long-term role that can lead to a permanent position
- Is willing to be trained and progress
- Can work as part of a small team as well as individually.
- Can start as soon as possible and arrange meetings with the site before Christmas
- Down to earth, honest and reliable
- Has the ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally.

Your next new job is just off Mansfield Road, where full car parking is available, and just a 7 minute drive from Derbion shopping centre. There is also a bus stop nearby, which is 17 minutes from Derbion shopping centre, however there will be a short 6 minute walk to the site please consider this before applying.
