My client, based in Smethwick, is currently looking for a Production Administrator/Sales Administrator to join their team. This role will support the company's very loyal customer base to manage the end to end process and ensure order fulfilment. Benefits: Salary of up to £28,000 doe Hours of work: Can be flexible on start and finish times. Monday to Friday. 38.5 per week with an early finish on a Friday Holidays: 22 + 8 (3 held for Christmas shutdown) Location: Smethwick Free onsite parking Immediate start role Office based only Main Duties & Responsibilities: Processing sales orders onto Sage, and Excel based production schedule. Produce and maintain weekly capacity plans to enable production lead times to be identified after overlay of demand forecasts. Liaise with Purchasing Department to ensure volume of stock does not exceed maximum levels while being sufficient to satisfy both productivity and current projected customer demand. Produce daily operating schedules that align sales orders to available productive capacity, ensuring productivity is maximised while enabling delivery promises to be achieved. Manage distribution to ensure that customer deliveries are affected on time, at least cost and in accordance with the production plan. Routinely monitor delivery performance against plan, identifying and taking actions where necessary to bring back on track. Liaising with Sales Team and customers to determine the correct order information. Contacting customers on a daily / weekly basis to determine schedule. Liaising with lift engineers to schedule installations. Creation of daily and weekly production schedules, balancing supply and demand; customer delivery performance and inventory levels Report delivery and schedule KPI performance internally. Monitor production process, workflow and schedules to ensure on-time delivery. Work with managers to develop potential solutions to improve production performance. Develop production schedules in accordance with sales forecast, plant and employee capacity and new business opportunities. Printing / issuing build sheets, delivery notes and certificates of conformity. Arranging courier collections. Develop customer records. Person Specification: Passion for delivering an excellent Customer Service experience Ability to build rapport and cultivate relationships with customer Intermediate level of Excel Sage Experience. A minimum of 3 years' work experience as a Production Scheduler or a Sales Admninistrator. Strong communications skills - written and verbal Proficiency in spreadsheet applications. Attention to detail. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and also take independent initiatives when the need arises. Please apply today!
