The talent team at NET Recruit are delighted to be partnering with a global logistics business who are searching for a Product Support Executive to join their team located in the Windsor area. The company is highly successful and has built up a presence across the globe, working together with businesses across multiple sectors including aerospace, automotive, high-tech and also medical. This role will be vital in the continued expansion and growth of the business, to accurately handle matters relating to the products and pricing. Specifically this role will be on their Ocean team, handling product queries in this area. It will prove to be a highly dynamic role within a stimulating environment.
Your Role and Responsibilities
While in this role your duties may include but are not limited to:
- Maintaining the pricing database and supporting with pricing inquiries relating to container loads (FCL and LCL)
- Attaining monthly rate sheets for imports and exports and checking and maintaining the rate management tool
- Negotiating space with carriers
- Addressing queries that get raised and supporting the operations to solve these
- Sending out updates relating to pricing and market information across the business in the UK
- Supporting the pricing strategy set by the managers in the Product Team
- Providing own reporting and supporting the Product Manager with both internal and external reporting
What you will need to Apply:
The business is keen to hear from applicants with specific experience within the logistics and shipping industry, working within a similar role. Good working knowledge of dealing with matters relating to container loads (FCL & LCL) is required as this will form a large part of the role and any application would be further supported with an understanding of trade lanes as well. You will need very strong communication skills and have an excellent eye for detail, support by an approach to work that allows for prompt problem solving.
What you will get in Return:
The successful candidate in this role can expect to receive a starting salary around the £32,000 point, however previous experience and knowledge of relevant points will be taken into consideration when deciding this.
