Job Summary:
New Engineering Graduates Needed – Join CSA Group’s Graduate Development Program
CSA Group’s Graduate Development Program will provide you with the opportunity to gain the needed technical and project management skills required to become a Product Safety Engineer on our Hazardous Locations (HazLoc) team in our Cleveland and Edmonton offices. The Product Safety Engineer role is critical to ensuring that our clients’ products comply with global and regional safety and performance standards; this allows our clients to sell their products around the World. As an Engineer on the HazLoc team you will evaluate, test, and certify our clients’ products to published international standards for suitability in potentially explosive atmospheres. Our clients’ products are installed in locations such as refineries, petro-chemical facilities, and other classified areas.
Over the duration of the program, you will learn more about our HazLoc services and be mentored by our senior engineers for a 6-month period, including six to eight weeks, on location, with our CSA Training Academy instructors. The training will include a mix of classroom and practical hands-on experience in our training laboratory. The Graduate Development Program will provide you with the knowledge of national and international Hazardous Locations schemes, the necessary skills to apply technical requirements to those standards, and the project management skills to successfully meet our clients’ needs.
Once you have successfully completed the Graduate Development Program, you will be assigned to one of our global HazLoc locations as a Product Safety Engineer where you will receive further mentoring and training support as you advance in your career with CSA Group.
If you are about to, or have recently graduated, are interested in meaningful work and making the world a better, safer, and more sustainable world, we would love to hear from you.
