Salary: £44,900 - £60,100

Location: Cambridge, Hybrid

Contract: Full time, permanent, 35 hours per week

We are Cambridge University Press & Assessment (CUPA), a world-leading academic publisher and assessment organisation and a proud part of the University of Cambridge.

This is an exciting opportunity for you to play an integral role in maximising the value of one of CUPA's suite of customer facing digital products, supporting product delivery through your work with development teams for both the UK and International education markets.

About the role

You will work collaboratively with the Product Manager, senior stakeholders, technical teams across the organisation to ensure the product strategy is executed within agreed budget and resources.

You will be responsible for defining requirements and priorities for the product, led by design, and working with the technical and user experience (UX) teams, as well as SMEs, to lead on translating requirements into deliverable solutions, maximising value and optimising the user experience for users and customers.

About you

You are a methodical and resilient problem solver and decision maker, proactive, well organised, and efficient with a strong eye for detail and a commitment to improving and getting things right.

You calmly combine an analytical approach with flexibility, using your interpersonal and confident communication skills to instil confidence in others and you are confident in analysing and clarifying points of detail prioritising development tasks which you enjoy seeing through to conclusion.

You will use your past experiences of working successfully with delivery teams in similar roles, along with excellent hosting and presentation skills to work in a measured way to foster a positive, collaborative, and collegiate team approach.

You possess a strong technical understanding and competence and have familiarity with systems used to manage the development backlog such as Jira and Confluence.
