The Role
As a Product Owner, you will work closely with one of the Product Managers in Brand Protection, our engineering and user experience teams to deliver high-quality features and functionality which truly delight our customers.
You will also help our operations teams to deliver efficient and effective solutions to customers. This role will make a real difference to brands and consumers around the world, who are exposed to fake products and scams online every day.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Bring our strategic plans and roadmap to life by planning incremental enhancements and new features that deliver value to customers as often as possible
- Be an engaged member of the team, attending all agile and scrum meetings to both contribute and ensure that development work is aligned with the roadmap
- Help the engineering and UX teams understand customer pain points, clearly articulating problems to other through user stories, requirements, acceptance criteria, and other documentation as required
- Be on hand to unblock developers, answer questions, clarify use cases and ensure tasks and sub-tasks are properly vetted and documented
- Collaborate with our internal teams, as primary users of our platform, and ensure their needs are understood, documented and prioritised to help them provide value to our customers
- Work with the Product Manager, product marketing and our training team to provide clear and detailed information about features and functionality for every release
- Define metrics for all major development initiatives and work with the Product Manager to track these over time, helping to inform future iterations and product lifecycle decisions
Essential
- Demonstrable experience as a Product Owner, or similar role, where you have used agile development processes and/or project management methodologies
- Knowledge of all aspects of the product development life cycle
- Strong communication skills with an ability to drive credibility and influence both internally and externally
- Strong ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
- Passion for data-driven analysis and decision-making
Desired
- Brand Protection subject matter knowledge would be an advantage
- Experience with Jobs to be done (JTBD) methodology, JIRA and Kanban experience would be helpful
- SQL skills are a plus
