Overview of Role
As a Product Owner, you will be at the heart of building out our platforms. You will be the Product representative in our London team and ensure that the development teams have a clear backlog of features and requirements so that they can successfully deliver value
You will work closely with others in the Product team from the VP of Product down to ensure that the problems are understood and requirements are broken down and ready for you and the team to design the solution.
You will clearly understand the problems we are solving or the benefits to be gained. You will represent this to the team and be the voice of the user, as they design and build, with the responsibility for accepting when a requirement is complete and the accountability for the feature adoption and usage.
Our platforms have been central to Peach delivering on its mission. We transform video advertising workflow by automating processes and connecting people. As a Product Owner, you should feel comfortable working in an environment with multiple teams and able to highlight dependencies and be able to define requirements to ensure that where possible work of your team can be undertaken in parallel to the other teams.
You will be based at our head office near Oxford Circus in London and report to the Senior Product Manager and support our Development team too. As we have teams in other locations and offices present in other markets that we serve, some travel may be required.
Core Responsibilities
You will work with stakeholders (internal and external )to define the problems and refine the requirements for upcoming features. Capture and document learnings in discovery and produce end-user requirements, user stories, test plans, and other useful documentation. Represent the User and Product to the Engineering teams to ensure that they understand the context and goals of the requirements and the problem that is being solved. You will ensure that requirements have acceptance criteria defined to ensure successful delivery can be measured and be an advocate of high quality.
You will work as a part of a highly collaborative, cross-functional team to oversee the full life-cycle and articulately present product enhancements undertaken by the team to internal and external stakeholders. As an advocate for UX you will collaborate with the UX team whenever necessary and work with the rest of Product, Support and the wider company to ensure that new features and enhancements are rolled out into production, adopted by users and a continuous feedback loop is in place.
You will ensure that non-functional requirements are captured and prioritised so that all attributes of the system are covered to deliver a reliable and high quality service to our clients.
Essential experience
- 3+ years experience of Product experience working within software development in a B2B environment
- Digital (AdTech/CTV) knowledge is essential
- Experience defining user stories, requirements (both functional and non-functional) and acceptance criteria
- Experience of working with DSP, SSP, CTV technology
- Experience of managing complicated user experience journeys
- The ability to set clear priorities and justify decisions
- A strong understanding of Agile and Lean practices
- Excellent communication skills at all business levels
Desired experience
- Experience of techniques to breakdown requirements such as Story Mapping
- Understanding of the current media buying landscape across TV and digital
- Experience of Jira / Figma / Miro
- Domain knowledge of broadcasting, video formats, transcoding, video streaming, and programmatic advertising
- Understanding of adtech/martech landscape and social advertising platforms
