Are you an ambitious and talented Product Owner looking to take the next step in your career and work for an exciting new start up team providing digital product advisory support to multiple operating companies working on the very latest product in the tech for good space including health, environmental and sustainability technology.


This is a great opportunity to join a new technology start up team working across multiple domains and products including health tech, environmental and sustainability technology. The team sits within a global FTSE organisation providing innovative solutions to many of the key problems facing the world today and this role would be part of a team providing product advisory services to all of the individual global operating companies. Whilst you would have the challenge of working in a new start up environment you will have the benefit of being part of global group of operating companies that has a fantastic financial track record of year on year growth for c20 years.

The role.

We are looking for a passionate Digital Product Management Specialist to assist the Chief Architect in accelerating the go-to-market digital strategy.
As a Digital Product Management Specialist, you will get the opportunity to deliver your expertise to a variety of operating companies across a range of interesting domains.

You’ll operate within a small and dynamic IT team within a global FTSE company, consulting on projects across the business.

You will help them develop and implement effective product management strategies and ensure the digital strategy and digital solution initiatives are designed to support the group's growth strategy.

Instead of having direct ownership of the product itself, your knowledge and expertise will provide critical consultation services to help the client team manage their products effectively.

As Digital Product Management Specialist, your responsibilities will span the areas of consulting, strategy, product road mapping and partner support.

Some of your typical duties will include:
  • Support the Chief Architect in defining best practice product management methodologies, producing templates, content, and education materials to disseminate this content to the organisational community.
  • Foster a product management community, engaging with a wide range of digital product-related employees to further grow the digital product management skillset across the organisation.
  • Consult with our OpCos to understand their product management needs and identify areas for improvement.
Strategy
  • Work with the operating company to support the validation and definition of the product strategy and vision.
  • Consult with and advise the Operating Company to ensure they can conduct market research and produce competitor analyses.
  • Conduct pricing analysis and make pricing recommendations to optimise revenue.
Product roadmap & requirements
  • Support the group in planning, road mapping, and prioritising strategic product features.
  • Scope features and requirements into appropriate product releases, while being cognizant of customer and company demands/timeframes.
  • Capture and articulate business, detailed functional, and non-functional requirements from multiple stakeholder communities
  • Create use cases/user.
  • Demonstrate use cases/user stories to show how a target solution platform may be implemented, and the benefits it will bring through adoption.
Partner & Engineering support
  • Support the group to identify& evaluate those partners who can deliver/develop their digital solutions.
  • Communicate product scoping and requirements to engineering and delivery partners.
  • Participate in and drive design sessions with strategic customers.
  • Coach PMs on effective knowledge transfer, training, and adoption of product capabilities by delivery and sales teams
About you.

We’re looking for an ambitious and entrepreneurial Product Owner.

This is a role focused on digital and convergence products.

As Digital Product Management Specialist, you will need the following technical skill and capabilities:
  • Commercial hands-on proven functional experience in a Product role
  • Experience in Digital Products within Healthcare, Safety and or Environmental Analysis products will be a plus.
  • Strong functional knowledge and understanding of all aspects of product management and the PLM process.
  • Strong consulting skillset with the ability to break down and explain complex problems.
  • Experience in a delivery-orientated technology environment, using the agile methodology.
