Deltatre’s Product team comprises of the most talented professionals in the over-the-top (OTT), digital and live broadcasting industry – working for major sports organisations, rights owners, media companies, and some of the world’s leading broadcasters. We pioneer new ways for consumers to interact with technology and take pride in delivering world-class experiences on emerging technologies.
As a Product Owner, you will be an integral part of one or more project teams and will be involved in the whole lifecycle of the project, from discovery phase through to run and maintenance. The Product Owner will be responsible for working with external and internal project stakeholders including the Client, Account Manager, Project Manager, and Service Manager to ensure that the Delivery team is operating as efficiently as possible, and the Client’s expectations are met.

Role Responsibilities*
- Work with Scrum teams as the Product Owner
- Work closely with the Product Manager to create and maintain a backlog according to the needs of clients and Deltatre’s Delivery and Commercial teams
- Assess value, develop cases, and prioritise stories, epics and themes to ensure work focuses on driving business value for our clients
- Provide backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories
- Ensure that the team always has an adequate amount of prior prepared tasks to work on
- Provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals
- Keep abreast with Agile/Scrum best practices and new trends

Requirements:*
- Previous working experience as a Product Owner in a related industry
- Experience with video streaming services or digital deliveries
- Experience of delivering user-facing applications across web, mobile and TV platforms
- A strong business acumen, backed up by a good technical understanding
- Degree (or equivalent) in Business Management, Computer Science, Engineering or similar relevant field or work experience in the fields
- In-depth knowledge of Agile process and principles
- Outstanding communication, presentation and leadership skills
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and critical thinking skills
- Professional level of fluent English (written and spoken)
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders from various functions
For a career in the SPORT business unit, a technical software engineering background or similar is essential.
