Job Summary:
As a Product Marketing Specialist, you'll assist us to help promote our products and its features to our Merchants. In this role, you will assist with marketing strategy, product implementation, marketing planning, product launches, and other aspects of product marketing. You will work with the broader ShineOn Team, and our Merchants to help develop marketing campaigns that best align with their needs and vision. Our ideal candidate has a creative yet analytical mind as well as a bachelor's degree in marketing and some relevant experience.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Research, follow, analyze and develop market trends in order to effectively position products
- Identifies target customers and markets.
- Test, analyze and report back on various product marketing features, launches, and software adjustments.
- Collects and maintains sales records required to track, review, and modify performance of marketing initiatives.
- Analyzes sales trends, marketing strategies, and product performance; prepares and presents reports summarizing information; makes recommendations based on analysis.
- Work with various teams (marketing, design, development, operations, etc.) to implement effective sales and product launch strategies.
- Develops and maintains actionable plans for product growth.
- Helps craft marketing campaigns
- Contributes to weekly reports
- Compiles weekly data
- Runs CRO tests on products and campaigns
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- At least a Bachelor Degree in Marketing or Business required
- At least 1-3 years of relevant marketing experience, a focus in e-commerce products a plus!
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in G-Suite or related products
- Proficient knowledge of e-commerce principles
- Proven ability to plan and implement marketing campaigns.
- Proficient knowledge of digital marketing and social media channels
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to accomplish goals and tasks independently
- Critical thinker that can identify problems and present solutions
- Imaginative and confident to present new and creative ideas
- Intrinsically motivated to grow and try something new every day
