What's it all about?
Visa Consulting and Analytics (VC&A) is the consulting arm of Visa, and drives tangible, impactful and financial results for Visa’s network clients, including both financial services and merchants. Drawing on our expertise in strategy consulting, data analytics, brand management, marketing, operational and macroeconomics, Visa Consulting and Analytics solves the most strategic problems for our clients.
Visa Managed Services (VMS) is an augmentation of Visa’s consultancy offering, supporting the execution and implementation of recommendations to help scale competitive advantage and operate to succeed in the digital age.
We are looking for a Product Manager with a strong background in payments or financial services to form an integral part of our product team, leading multiple product development work streams within a key Visa client in the UK. We are passionate about providing an outstanding client experience, delivering Visa products and service offerings that improve efficiency and drive value for everyone! What we expect of you, day to day
This role will report to the VMS Programme Lead and shall:
- Build compelling product roadmaps, leading and prioritising backlogs and articulating an exciting product vision
- Collaborate with key individuals across both Visa and the client. Product, marketing, compliance, legal, and other business SMES are your key partners, you will influence to ensure alignment and support towards the product vision
- Work with key business collaborators to elicit, analyse, communicate and validate requirements for changes to business processes, policies, information and systems to achieve final technology/business solution
- Collaborate with customer research and design to ensure product requirements are aligned with customer needs
- Ensure the product backlog is visible, open, and clear to all, including dependencies and priorities based on the overall strategy
- Assists with the elaboration of Epics, Themes and Features into user stories that are granular enough to be achieved in a single sprint
- Review QA test results before releasing to UAT
- Support go-to-market launch strategy
What we're after...
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience
- Previous experience in a product development environment, preferably in payments / financial services
- Successful track record of launching consumer centric digital products in a bank, fintech or a payments company
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a natural collaborator with an ability to translate business needs to a technical team
- Results orientated, continues to work towards achievement of goals in the face of obstacles readily integrating changes into work processes and outputs
- Knowledge of how to work in an Agile environment (e.g. SCRUM, Lean/Kanban)
- Experience working in a regulated environment
- A meticulous and structured problem solver
