Are you interested to play a key role in how we change how visitors to LEGO.com engage with content?

We are looking for an extraordinary digital Product Manager to take responsibility for one of our established product teams looking after our Content Management System and the supporting content service. This team plays a critical role in how we present our brand and products to visitors to the sites across the globe, providing the platform for the marketing teams to produce amazing, engaging content.

This is an amazing opportunity to change how we engage with our users, and with our ambitions to offer more personalized experiences to all visitors, a critical role in changing how we enable unique and relevant messaging across the full end-to-end user journey lifecycle.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Global eCommerce, the wider marketing organization, our external content agency and a broader group of stakeholders to define the vision for our Content Management System and the support services including the content service

  • With the product team, develop an ambitious and clear product vision and communicate it to key business partners and the team, so they’re aligned, and invested in the strategic direction

  • Define, monitor, and report the product teams’ quarterly performance, in line with our portfolio strategic OKR's

  • Really get under the skin of the problems to solve, be that for our users internally or externally and work with the right people to define solutions, deliver them and measure the performance

  • Continually explore product discovery, bringing in the right team across user research, service design, analytics and the broader organization to continually evolve the product

  • Really understand the needs and long-term strategy of the business and be able to translate these into how it affects the product, OKRs and long-term vision

  • Deeply understand the core user journeys and the importance of each on the value the product and the associated changes bring

  • Work with other product teams on the end-to-end user journey to understand how each product fits together to give world-class user experiences

The Shopper Product Organisaion is focused on growing our direct interactions with our direct customers and supporting the growth of our entire organization. Striving to deliver pinnacle brand experiences that engage, excite and make visitors to the platform true fans of the brand and our products. This department sits across stores and online.

The Product Manager for this team will work with the broader team on the vision for the Content Management System and how it aligns with our ambitions for broader growth including personalization. The product team is an existing team and made up of between 6-8 across engineering, product and design.

This role would suit someone who is technically strong or passionate about learning about our technical content services, including how we scale to deal with peaks in demand for new product launches and core promotional times of the year e.g. May 4th.

The role sits in Shopper Product Organisation that is located within our commercial Markets and Channels business within LEGO Retail, the name for our direct-to-consumer channels. This department covers all aspects of a full retail company from marketing to eCommerce to loyalty and product management.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Proven product management experience in an online experience driven channel, ideally within a branded channel or eCommerce capacity

  • You have worked in successful, cross functional agile product-teams, you’re passionate about shipping value to customers or end users early and often, having fun whilst doing it, and looking after your team

  • You are happiest when getting under the skin of what users needs and working with others to find the best possible solutions

  • You have strong people skills, able to balance the needs of the team and those of the wider business, taking a proactive and self-organising approach

  • You have a good technical understanding or are keen to add to your technical know-how. Understanding of back end services and how they support front-end applications is a plus

  • You have a good understanding of the OKR framework and know how to use it to get the best outcome for the user and the organization

  • You are as curious and passionate about data and insights as you are visual design and user flows

  • You are a great communicator, and empathetic, you can build effective relationships quickly

  • You ensure effective leadership and supportive coaching to your team; maintaining a continuous learning environment, setting clear objectives and proactively encouraging personal and professional development
