About the Role
With a community of 50 product managers and designers (and growing!), we are looking for a great product person to join our team. Want to be a part of the team responsible for the experience of our 25 million active customers here at ASOS?
If you are a Product Manager who truly believes in putting the customer first, is passionate about speaking to customers, ‘test and learn’ and are confident researching and communicating new opportunities that our industry offers, we’d love to hear from you.
This role is part of our Customer Growth team. You will be responsible for collaborating with our Content Management Platform team, Web & Apps team and our Content Marketing stakeholders to drive forward Content at ASOS. This could include personalisation of our homepage content, playing a key role in our delivering our brand identity and thinking strategically about how ASOS create and curate content at scale.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Working closely with Lead and Senior Product Managers to help drive the vision and strategy for the product area (content).
- Using a combination of conviction, data, competitor, and customer research to identify opportunity areas and build your roadmap.
- Championing a ‘test and learn’ approach to develop products and features, all with clear hypotheses and success metrics.
- Being forward in sharing learnings, failures and what not to design and build as a result of your tests.
- Regularly updating stakeholders about the performance of your product area and use this as a backdrop for product recommendations or decisions.
- Being the go-to person for one of our awesome engineering teams, covering everything from the product strategy to the detail of a user story.
- Engaging with other product managers and designers at ASOS to achieve results and learn from each other.
- Supporting our culture by championing Diversity, Equity & Inclusion strategies.
Who We’d Like to Meet
- You have the desire to drive both delivery and discovery processes.
- You have a curious mind that enables you to self-learn about new customer problem areas or opportunities.
- You will have content experience, working on a content management system or engagement platform.
- You have a strong belief in the role and value of data, and are not afraid to test and learn, using these feedback loops to continuously improve the product.
- You have a superpower that enables you to combine active listening with being inquisitive with people across engineering, customer care, retail, marketing, and finance.
- Experience collaborating with product design, engineering teams and insights (and beyond!) to successfully get your products to market
- A skill of taking people on a journey as we instil a product mindset across ASOS.
