Product Manager - LALFIX
Main Functions
Reporting to the Vice President Product Management, the main missions of the Product Manager - LALFIX will be to coordinate the life cycle of the LALFIX product line (inoculants line), the preparation and maintenance of the documents intrinsic to the product and the introduction of the products on the market. And our Product Manager will simply be obsessed with our products – nothing less!
More precisely, the Product Manager - LALFIX works collaboratively across the various Business Unit functions to ensure alignment/delivery on the following topics related to the product portfolio that they manage:
Primary Responsibility:
- Provide internal and B2B training and technical support for the products.
- Determine and communicate the potential positionings of the products (claim, crop, pricing guidelines).
- Recommend the most adapted positionings for each market.
- Product library: ensure that all data generated on the product is maintained and archived (field trial data; labels; etc.).
- Product story and ID: build and maintain the synthesized product story and Product ID.
Coordination Responsibility:
- Product roadmap & priorities (improvements, complaint follow-ups, etc.).
- Product launches: ensures that all elements linked with the portfolio SKUs are in place prior to the launch/sales (master files, packaging, labels).
- Legal aspects: ensures products follow applicable laws and regulations.
Participation/Input:
- Participate in local strategies (sales strategy, distribution, pricing).
- Contributes ideas to Innovation related to product portfolio.
- Guidance on field trial design with Field Solutions teams.
- Input on Quality-related documents & decisions.

Technical skills
Required
- MSc, PhD or equivalent in agronomy or microbiology
- Agriculture & Microbiology knowledge
- Knowledge of bio-insecticides market and environment (Regulatory, KIP, etc.)
- Knowledge on microbial products production & customer service constraints
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.
- Demonstrated ability to execute and complete projects in collaboration with multiple teams
- Ability to manage a budget and analyze product profitability
- Analytical skills to interpret sales statistics and marketing data
An asset
- Knowledge of French and/or Spanish and/or Portuguese
