Using Green Project's platform, businesses of any size can begin tracking and monitoring their footprints. Ultimately, our platform provides the tools our customers need to begin tracking and reducing their corporate carbon footprint in compliance with the GHG Protocol.

Job Overview: Green Project is seeking a Product Manager to drive the product strategy, feature discovery, and implementation process. Working in collaboration with sales, customer success, and engineering teams, you'll help us scale our product and processes by managing the rollout of new features. Ultimately, you'll be responsible for nurturing our maturing product into a powerful and fully featured business carbon accounting platform.

  • Manage and communicate product timelines across multiple customer verticals and partner channels
  • Appraise new product ideas and strategize appropriate go-to-market plans

Responsibilities:

  • Drive the execution of all processes in the product lifecycle, including product discovery and market research, competitor analysis, planning, requirements and roadmap development, and product launch
  • Manage and maintain short-term and long-term project roadmaps; communicates with customers and partners regarding roadmap progress
  • Solicit feedback from customers, team members, and other stakeholders regarding product improvements, drives feature prioritization discussions
  • Produce and maintain product storyboards, rough wireframes, and technical requirements to be prototyped and implemented by development teams
  • Create product strategy documents that describe business cases, high-level use cases, technical requirements, revenue, and ROI
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, security, marketing, and sales teams in the development, QA, and release of products, and balance resources to ensure success for the entire organization
  • Collaborate with development project managers to maintain up-to-date documentation of all features

Requirements:

  • 7-10 years' experience in a dynamic product management role

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in product design, engineering, IT management, or a related field

Salary Range:

$150,000-$200,000 + bonus. Actual base pay may vary based on various factors such as location, job-related knowledge, skills, level and experience. The base pay is just one component of the total competitive compensation package for employees.

  • The chance to be part of and lead a growing, fast-moving team and make a significant impact on the environment.
  • A competitive salary and benefits package:
  • A supportive and inclusive culture, with a focus on collaboration and teamwork.

Remote Work:

Green Project embraces remote work, and our team comprises talented individuals who work across the US and in several other countries. Our largest presence is in NYC, and employees in the NYC area are invited to join us for occasional working-in-person days, but these are never required.

If you're passionate about sustainability and have a track record of success in carbon accounting (or a desire to pivot into climate tech!), we want to hear from you! Apply now to join our team and help our clients achieve their sustainability goals.

Don't meet every single requirement? Studies have shown that women and people of color are less likely to apply to jobs unless they meet every single qualification. At Green Project we are dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive and authentic workplace, so if you're excited about this role but your past experience doesn't align perfectly with every qualification in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyways. You may be just the right candidate for this or other roles.
