Senior Debit Card Product Manager
London
As a Barclays Senior Debit Card Product Manager, you will design, build, and manage products on an E2E basis that generate sustainable returns by helping clients to achieve their business ambitions in the right way – such as making their banking easier and enabling their business to grow. You will have an exciting chance to support the optimisation of the Debit/ATM card offering, as well as supporting a number of core everyday banking products and managing key projects across the Cash, Cheque and Cards product set.

What will you be doing?
- Designing and bringing to life the Card Product strategy
- Directing the concept design activity for key strategic initiatives to bring new products to life
- Delivering financial targets for our product set including forecasting, regular monitoring of performance, identifying issues and delivering actions to address any short falls
- Developing and using deep customer and market insight to identify, construct and deliver compelling customer propositions
- Ensuring that our product range remain relevant to the customer and competitive in the market, especially in the face of evolving payments technology
- Collaborating with external vendors and suppliers to drive and develop the customer and commercial proposition
- Developing, managing, and implementing robust processes aligned to business objectives
- Identifying, mitigating, and tracking business, operational and financial risks
- Demonstrable understanding of product lifecycle discipline and E2E processes
- Proven track record of owning and delivering projects and/or initiatives
- Experience of working in a solid regulatory environment with attention to the detail
- Awareness of products and services available across financial services and specifically in payments
- Experience of product management or developing commercial activity in financial services, preferably with some transactional banking experience
- Experience of product ownership in a financial services organisation
- Working knowledge of the full range of business disciplines e.g., Compliance, Operations, Service, Sales, Marketing, IT, Finance, HR, and Risk
- Sound understanding of market trends and dominant issues
